ABOUT BEKAH

As a little girl, all I ever wanted was to be a wife and a mom. I was homeschooled my whole life and never had the slightest desire to go to college or land a high paying job. My dream was to settle down in a small town and live a simple life, far detached from the all too common rat race. I would daydream about having a husband to wake up beside in the morning and a baby to tuck in at night. I never envisioned myself as a 'working mom,' so you can only imagine how grateful I am to be blessed with a job that hardly feels like work. 



I got my first camera sometime around 2005. It was hot pink and palmsized, now labeled as vintage according to Google (ouch!). I had no idea that from that point on, I'd rarely be seen without a camera in my hand, even 15+ years later. I used to label myself as a free-spirited extrovert, but something about having 2 kids will really do a number on that stereotype! When I'm not taking photos you can find me at home with my babies, Alaska & Daisy, watching Survivor or casually strolling the aisles of the nearest thrift shop. I love wildflowers, golden hours, iced coffee, sweet wine and spending time with our small, yet priceless, circle of friends. I also believe that my taste in music is top notch so if you ever need an awesome Spotify playlist, I got you.

ABOUT JESSE

That isn't to say I don't enjoy a good time. I like to have a good time,just like Alan Jackson. 

When I'm not out taking photos, you can find me being a stay at home Pa or riding my mountain bike. I also really love the Lord, so there's a good chance you will find me reading the Psalms as well, always with coffee...black coffee, that is. 




My favorite song to hear at a wedding is either 'Blinding Lights' or 'Copperhead Road' so I can show off my basic white dad moves, although I have not leveled up to white sneaker status. Furthermore, my favorite restaurant is Cracker Barrel because it reminds me of my Papa and Granny and simpler times. Oh, and of course because of their fresh pots and country fried steak. 

And not that it matters, but I'm also really into knives and almost always have one with me, which is especially handy on wedding days! (I'm currently sporting a Protech Godson.) I reckon that's enough of a Jesse starter pack. I'm super stoked at the prospect of getting to work with you!
